When a new member joins our community, we invite them to declare their goals, or quests they have wanted to achieve as caregivers in the mental health care world; examples of quests are "I want to feel and be competent at this" or "I want to maintain my own mental health while I am parenting my son with mental illness". Every member identifies ways to improve their skills, stamina, and supports to improve their quality of life as a caregiver. Our community navigators then design content and support so that each member can achieve their goals to while they are with us.
Our community platform is built around the primary motivators that help each user achieve meaningful behavioral change in their caregiver lives. After participating in the FamilyPsychConsumer community, our members will experience more . . .
AUTONOMY - "I control my circumstance, not feel controlled by it."
MASTERY - "I become competent and improve my abilities to create change.”
PURPOSE - “I make a difference in my own family/life/parenting.”
PROGRESS - “I see real change happening because I measure my wins.”
SOCIAL CONNECTION - “My life is better when I connect, share, care, learn from others.”
This is how we innovate the caregiver experience – provide a platform to help them become more health, competent consumers of the mental healthcare marketplace and improve their quality of life along the way.
